Activation

To make sure the T-Mobile SIM card will work with your phone, check T-Mobile information.

Activation confirmation will be sent together with the system generated mobile number.

To make sure the AT&T SIM card will work with your phone, check the devices tested for the AT&T network at AT&T. These phones still work after the 3G phase-out in February 2022.

How to activate the SIM card

1. Activate the SIM first in an unlocked phone. Enable roaming in settings when you are outside the UK.
2. Wait for the signal, accept the Three UK setting messages, then you are set. Activation takes 3–4 hours.
3. Keep the phone on while the SIM is activating.
4. If the SIM is activated and tested in the USA before travel (not recommended), the adult content filter is turned on by default, so tethering is not allowed until you arrive in the UK or Europe.

• 3UK mobile numbers are pre-assigned.
• 24GB of data only in the UK for 24 months.
• 12GB of data only in the listed European countries and the rest of the listed countries, for 60 days only.
• Use in an unlocked GSM phone or unlocked MiFi device.
• Data only. No calling or texting.
• Hotspot and tethering are allowed.
• International roaming outside the UK is for 60 days only. Data resumes when you are back in the UK.
• This SIM cannot be recharged or topped up for more data.
• Coverage depends on the network. For 4G you need a 4G device in a 4G area. See Three.co.uk/coverage.
